Hickinbotham has teamed up with experienced professional, Subdivision Solutions, to make the whole process easier. Subdivision Solutions will run the land division from start to finish.
Meet with a Hickinbotham Building Consultant to discuss your wants and needs for your house design(s). An experienced professional from the Subdivision Solutions team will have an initial discussion with you to work out what you’re wanting to achieve with your Knock Down Rebuild. From this, they will begin working on a concept plan and project costings.
Meet with a Project Manager from the Subdivision Solutions team to review the proposed concept plan. Once it’s presented, you’ll have an understanding of the project, the costings, and timeline and ask any questions you may have. Meet with your Hickinbotham Building Consultant to finalise your home design and the consultant will begin finalising the building quote for you.
The Hickinbotham Building Consultant will have prepared a building agreement , outlining everything to do with your home. Signing this will begin the building process.
Once you have all the information needed you can enter into a management agreement with Subdivision Solutions and the land division process can begin.
From here, the Subdivision Solutions team will be working hard to your project’s timeline. You can sit back and relax while the Project Manager works through all aspects of the subdivision, contracting surveyors, lodging council applications, coordinating demolition and so much more. Meet with a Hickinbotham Design Consultant to choose from the huge range of finishes available for your home. At Hickinbotham’s Design Studio you can choose from interior and exterior finishes, floor coverings, tiles, bricks, doors, taps, appliances, light fittings and all the finishing touches.
The Subdivision Solutions team will have arranged demolition of your existing home, and all building debris and rubbish is taken away. Once titles have been received, construction will begin soon after!
Your Hickinbotham Site Supervisor and Construction Manager will oversee your build to make sure it meets the highest quality assurance guidelines, and construction is handled from foundation to finish by the best trades available. You’ll see your home take shape in five stages:
When construction is finished, your Site Supervisor will give you the grand tour to make sure everything is just as it should be. Once you’re absolutely happy with the result, we’ll hand over the keys and you can move in!

As your new home ‘settles’, it’s not unusual for a few minor items to require attention. So, we’ll give you the opportunity to report any concerns in the first three months after handover.
